During the meeting, the guests were informed about the work of the Ombudsman Institute with citizens' appeals, monitoring visits to closed institutions with restriction of freedom of movement, cooperation with representatives of civil society institutions and non-governmental non-profit organizations.

The meeting discussed projects implemented by the Ombudsman and the International Republican Institute in cooperation, as well as expected results and plans for the future.

An exchange of views also took place on the development of a mobile platform in order to create additional convenience for citizens to send electronic appeals to the Commissioner and prepare brochures and analytical data on human rights.
