In particular, it was noted that the building was in need of urgent renovation and that there was a necessity to improve facilities for sports activities for the residents.

Following the monitoring, the Ombudsman submitted a recommendation document to the Regional Department of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During a follow-up monitoring visit on April 18, 2025, conducted by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Bukhara, it was confirmed that 176 million soums had been allocated for construction and renovation works, and that repair activities had already commenced.

Additionally, during interviews with the residents of the institution, it was revealed that there was a need for dental and gynecological medical services, and appropriate measures were initiated.
