The Ombudsman Met with Uzbek Citizens Living in Russia

On April 15, 2025, the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), Feruza Eshmatova, arrived on an official visit to the Russian Federation. On the first day of the visit, the Ombudsman met with Uzbek citizens temporarily residing and working in Russia.

During the meeting, held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Moscow, compatriots discussed various legal issues of interest to them, including problems faced by individuals working temporarily abroad. Some citizens also requested assistance in resolving issues related to their close relatives in both Russia and Uzbekistan.

The meeting was held in an open and sincere atmosphere, where Feruza Eshmatova highlighted the significant potential of compatriots to contribute to the development of Uzbekistan.

As part of her official visit, the Ombudsman is also scheduled to meet with the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova.
