Ombudsman's Secretariat

With a view to support current organizational matters related to activities of the Institute of Ombudsman, its Secretarial Office was established. It provides legal, organizational, informative, systemic and analytical support for effective implementation of activities and functions of Ombudsman, as well as for the Commission for the Observance of Constitutional Human Rights and Freedoms, and for the regional representatives of Ombudsman.
Secretarial Office of the Authorized Person (Ombudsman) has a status of legal entity. The Authorized Person has its own seal, depicting the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Activities of the Authorized Person (Ombudsman) are supported financially through the funds of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Secretarial Office is directly managed by Ombudsman and includes the following staff members: the head of Secretarial Office; senior secretaries for various areas of activity; and inspectors who ensure technical support of office activities. Rights and obligations of persons working in the Secretarial Office of the Authorized Person (Ombudsman) are governed by the Labor Code and other laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
