The Ombudsman made a submission to the Ministry on a citizen's appeal
The Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) received an appeal from a 25-year-old citizen living in Navruz mahalla, Altynsay district, Surkhandarya region.

On May 3, 2021 the citizen, who lost his parents early and now lives with his brother, took a 3-month short-term sewing course based on a referral from the employment promotion center of Altynsay district. According to the applicant, the stipend and sewing machine have not been given for 3 months, despite the fact that he is an orphan and the severity of his situation.

The appeal was taken under the control of The Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights and sent to the Main Department of Employment of Surkhandarya region. However, the appeal was not thoroughly studied by this department, in particular, the issues indicated in the appeal were considered by the Altynsay District Employment Promotion Center, that is, the organization and its officials, whose decisions, actions (inaction) are appealed in the same appeal. In addition, the response letter was written superficially and in general terms with no data on the actions taken to solve the problem and when it would be solved, and other questions remained open.

In view of the above, the Ombudsman made a submission to the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations.
